Ensemble Ex Corde

Ensemble Ex Corde emerges in Seville as a result of the concern of three musicians formed within the Early Music high culture atmosphere of the capital of Andalusia, such as the Baroque Orchestra of Seville. Its members decided to approach music for violin, viola da gamba and harpsichord, formation that has a wide repertoire since the early Baroque (seventeenth century) until its end (second half of the eighteenth century). These margins can find samples of significant developments in the art instrumental in Italy beginning of the seventeenth century with authors such as Castello, Fontana or Frescobaldi, going through teachers as Buxtehude or Marais until Bach and laying the groundwork for what will be called chamber music in the Classic Period.

Ensemble Ex Corde’s members, with extensive experience in Early Music and trained alongside the great masters of historical interpretation, ensure a quality program in both the musical point of view as aesthetic. They have performed at national and international festivals as the Early Music Festival de Aranjuez, Early Music Festival Conde- Duque (Madrid), Early Music Festival of Sajazarra (La Rioja), among other, getting greatest public and critical success.
